JCB compact excavators offer durability, less maintenance

The 18Z-1 and 19C-1 compact excavators from JCB weigh 1.8 and 1.9 tonnes, respectively. Both excavators feature all-steel bodywork, 500-hour greasing intervals, swing-out counterweight and integrated tie-down points. The dozer blade is available with standard arms or optional long-reach arms. A 23.1-hp Perkins diesel engine is accessed via a rear counterweight that swings away to reveal the engine bay and battery. The 18Z-1 and 19C-1 use a next-generation, four-plate boom and dipper design. Two dipper arm lengths are available: 3 ft. 1 in. and 3 ft. 7 in. The 5 ft. 11 in. main boom features a top-mounted ram.
